Accuracy of Easy at Home Pregnancy Tests

Accuracy of Easy at Home Pregnancy Tests The homemade pregnancy tests have no scientific basis No research suggests these Tests Accuracy of Easy at Home Pregnancy Tests

Pregnancy tests are done by women for knowing whether they are pregnant or not. Human chorionic gonadotropin hormone is detected in the urine by all the home pregnancy test devices.
Different types of home pregnancy test devices are available in the market. However, they all basically perform the same function. Such tests check the presence of Human chorionic gonadotropin in the urine of women.
Several brands offer their pregnancy test devices which can be easily used by women. Mostly they come in the form of a dipstick which collects and analyzes the urine. Though most of the home pregnancy tests work the same way, one should read the instructions on their packages carefully.
Accuracy of Home Pregnancy Tests
In this article, we will be talking about the accuracy of home pregnancy tests. You may have read different reports regarding the accuracy of such tests. Most of these tests offer 99% or more accuracy.

However, this accuracy may also depend on some factors. For instance, if the home pregnancy test is done on the day on which a woman missed her period then she can expect it to be more accurate. Several reports also suggest that many of the home pregnancy tests make false promises of accuracy to people.
Experts have also suggested that a large number of home pregnancy tests are not much sensitive to spot HCG (Human chorionic gonadotropin) in the urine after one or two days of the missed period.
One should also understand that the sensitivity of the home pregnancy test also determines whether it is accurate or not.
The higher the sensitivity of a test the more will be its accuracy. In those cases, where a woman has HCG in her urine due to giving birth to a baby recently, fertility drugs, miscarriage etc. then tests that are not very sensitive are recommended.

People should also understand that the accuracy claims which are made by a large number of home pregnancy tests are also meant for promoting sales. Almost every such test claims that it is the most reliable and accurate test. One should buy a home pregnancy test device from an established and trusted brand.

What To Eat When Pregnant - Healthy Pregnancy Diet Plan first trimester

Pregnancy diet meal plan - Must have a healthy pregnancy diet plan while Pregnant when you are a first-trimester pregnancy food chart.

What To Eat When Pregnant first trimester

Healthy Pregnancy Diet Plan First trimester

If you are pregnant or are preparing your body for pregnancy then you need to seriously consider what to eat when pregnant.

As an IVF and pregnancy consultant, I have seen many women neglect their bodies during pregnancy due to indifference or lack of knowledge.

A pregnant body requires tender loving care as it embarks of the journey of creating a new life.

As a mother, you will want to produce the healthiest baby with every body part functioning fully. Diet and lifestyle matter greatly, so to keep it simple I have put together a 'What to eat when pregnant list' and I explain why you need to eat these food groups.

Some foods double-up on their nutrients, so where this is so, to make it easier for you I have chosen which category to list them in and list them only once in my total list.

This way, you will be eating a more varied diet which is rich in nutrients required for a healthy baby.

Be aware, that you need only increase your calorie intake by 300 calories, which is not a lot. So you must ensure that the calories you choose to eat are going to benefit you and your baby.

First Trimester Pregnancy Diet Plan - 9 month pregnancy diet plan

FOLIC ACID I advise my patients to take a supplement of folic acid before pregnancy and also during the first trimester. Folic acid prevents spina bifida and ensures your baby's nervous system develops properly.

IRON Iron is stored in your body during pregnancy for your baby to draw on for the first six months of feeding. I advise an iron supplement of 60 milligrams daily along with eating iron-rich foods. Eat plenty of dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, dried fruits, lean beef, liver and sardines

CALCIUM Your baby will draw calcium from your body to develop his or her bones and teeth. If your calcium intake is low, then calcium will be drawn from your own bones leading to osteoporosis later in your life.

Start your pregnancy by drinking 4 cups of skim milk each day, or the equivalent of other dairy products such as cottage cheese or yogurt.

VITAMIN C Your body is under a lot of stress as it changes and reacts to being pregnant. In order to keep your general health intact, you need to eat foods that are high in vitamin C.

Vitamin C is found in fruit and vegetables, and most abundantly in the following vegetables: broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, spinach, and potatoes. Fruit: lemon, papaya, oranges, watermelon, honeydew melon cantaloupe, and strawberries. Eat one cup of vitamin C rich foods daily.

VITAMIN B Vitamin B is converted in the body from foods high in Beta carotene. You should eat one cup of the following daily: cabbage, carrot, sweet potatoes, apricot, peach, nectarine, pumpkin and squash.

BREAD and LEGUMES Your will be hungry when pregnant, and bread and legumes, while high in a variety of nutrients, will also keep you satisfied. Eat a variety of granary bread and add canned beans or lentils to your meals.

WATER A normal healthy diet consists of 8 glasses of water a day. Keep this up while pregnant,as being dehydrated will cause stress to your baby, and will also inhibit all of the healthy nutrients which you have been eating.

What To Eat When Pregnant And Nauseous

What to eat when pregnant and nauseous needs different approaches depending on the mother. While it is still not known for sure what causes sickness when pregnant, in some women it can be related to blood sugar levels.

As blood sugar levels take a dive while you sleep, I recommend eating a small meal of carbohydrates and protein right before bed.

This could be a bowl of cereal and yogurt or a cheese sandwich. Also, have a salty cracker by your bed and eat it 20 minutes before you get out of bed.

Throughout the day eat small meals which are a combination of protein and carbohydrate. Some women find what to eat when pregnant and sick difficult to determine simply because they are just not hungry.

My advice to you is to eat what you feel you can, but ensure it is quality non-processed food, and drink as much water as you can.

What To Eat When Pregnant With Twins

What to eat when pregnant with twins requires the same nutrient balance, but with 600 extra calories than normal. This is quite substantial.

I advise my clients to increase their breakfast lunch and dinner portions by a quarter and to snack on healthy food more throughout the day.

Congratulations on creating a new life, and for taking the time to care about what you eat.

This is just a brief list of what to eat when pregnant, and I would recommend that you read further. I always advise my clients to go to the library and read as much as they can. Some E-books are also very helpful and often come with forums for professional on-line support. I wish you and your family well.

Tips To Get Pregnant Fast- 10 Easy Fertility Tips Tricks to Get Pregnant

tips to get pregnant fast There are several fertility tips how to get pregnant fast some east tips and tricks to get pregnant faster.

Tips for getting pregnant fast

Tips To Get Pregnant Fast

I have worked in the fertility industry for a number of years and have learned many
tips for getting pregnant over this time. Trying to get pregnant can be an exciting yet harrowing time. Why is it that some people get pregnant so quickly and others suffer months or years of infertility? The human body is a complex system, and getting pregnant although seemingly easy, is a complex issue!

In this article, I offer tips on getting pregnant which during my career have been the most successful. Often the male factor in getting pregnant is forgotten so I have also written a section with tips for men. If you suffer from PCOS, I have some tips for you too! Read on.

There are Several fertility tips how to get pregnent fast

Obvious Tips First!

Most people ask me for tips on getting pregnant fast, and I always begin with cleansing of the pregnancy diet plan and lifestyle. If you want to have a healthy baby, then you, the baby's parents must have a healthy lifestyle. Statistics show that people who smoke or drink alcohol can take up to ten months longer to get pregnant than those who don't. Smoking negatively affects ovulation and fallopian tube function which will hinder getting pregnant fast.

Drinking alcohol while trying to get pregnant has more negative factors than I can list here, but the most important factor from my experience is that alcohol affects the body's PH levels, leaving your body in an acidic state. The human body and especially the reproductive systems in both male and female function better in an alkaline state, so my first tip on getting pregnant fast is - do not smoke or drink. Continued below....

Stay Healthy

If you are wanting a body that is healthy and ready to conceive, then you must feed your body appropriately. A diet of saturated fats and high sugar and salt is not going to make a healthy reproductive system. Your
pregnancy diet Plan is important not only for fast conception but also for the creation of a quality fetus and baby.

Eat fresh quality vegetables and proteins and do not eat processed foods that are high in fat and salt. What to eat when pregnant and what not to eat when pregnant are too numerous to write here, but I would advise you to seek more information on this from your library or from an e-book. I have also written articles on diet tips for how to have a boy and how to conceive a girl. The links to these articles are at the bottom of this page.

Irregular Periods

The conception of a baby occurs when the female body ovulates, so you need to know when your body is ovulating. The fastest way to find out is to use an ovulation kit. These are cheap and can be purchased online or from a pharmacy. They cost from $30 - $120 and are worth every cent. On the days that the kit shows that you are ovulating, have intercourse only one time on those days. Important tips on getting pregnant fast for men are - do not have intercourse more than once on days of ovulation or a few days before ovulation. This is because you want a good quantity of good quality sperm.

Tight Underwear for Men MYTH

Other tips for getting pregnant for men are that you must also refrain from smoking and drinking during conception. Both affect sperm quality, and good quality sperm means getting pregnant fast with a healthy fetus. Over the years stories have emerged about boxer shorts being the preferred option of underwear for men who are trying to conceive. This is a
myth. Underwear will not affect sperm quality, therefore if you wear normal underwear, then you are fine!

With PCOS

If you suffer from PCOS, then chances are that you will be finding getting pregnant difficult. But don't worry, you can get pregnant. My tips for getting pregnant with PCOS are to firstly have an extreme regime of healthy eating and exercise and to consult a doctor for a course of a drug called Clomid.

Clomid success rates are as high as 75% for stimulating ovulation in women who normally do not ovulate, and then a 10-15% pregnancy rate from ovulation. This seems low, but it is cheaper than starting straight on the expensive option of IVF because IVF success rates are still low for women with PCOS.

I hope these tips for getting pregnant are useful to you. Information is power and the more information you get, the more likely you will get pregnant fast.

I also advise my clients to read books from the library, go to free seminars, or to get one of the many e-books available.

These often have money-back guarantees and are loaded with good scientific-based information. A lot of e-books also go a step further and offer online support and forums too, so check them out.

Hope you have Like These Tips and Tricks to Get Pregnant Faster

Good luck on this wonderful quest for life! I wish you well.

Pregnancy Diet Plan - Weekly Pregnancy Meal Plan and Diet Chart

What is pregnancy diet plan and you must know when you are first trimester you must have weekly pregnancy meal plan or a pregnancy diet chart month by month

Pregnancy Diet chart

Pregnancy Diet Plan - Pregnancy Diet Plan

Unlike most diets, your pregnancy diet plan does not leave room for personal choice or preference. Your growing baby needs some specific vitamins and minerals, which means eating a lot of green leafy vegetables and lean red meat. This is sometimes difficult for vegetarians and women who don't usually eat this way. However, you can't be selfish about this, you've got someone else more important than yourself to think about now. Quite often women will adopt a different diet during their pregnancy, and first year if you breast feed, and then revert back to their old ways later on.

Pregnancy Diet Plan - Pregnancy Diet First Trimester

It's not simply a case of 'eating for two' and just eating more. In fact, during your pregnancy you should aim to only put on an extra 20-30lbs at the most! Anymore than that would be unhealthy for you and your baby, not to mention the fact that more than half of mothers never get back their pre-birth weight ever again.

During your first trimester, which is the basically the first 3 months, you shouldn't increase your portion sizes at all. In terms of your pregnancy diet, at this stage it's more a case of changing what foods you eat rather than how much you eat.

During the first trimester a healthy weight gain is a mere 3lbs. Anymore than that and you're just making it harder for yourself later on. Only in the last 6 months should you aim to put on weight. This is at the rate of about 4-5lbs per month.

Pregnancy Diet Plan - Pregnancy Diet Chart

It's advisable to keep a weight chart so you can monitor your progression throughout the pregnancy. Stick to the guidelines mentioned above and you should be fine.

Remember that if you restrict your pregnancy diet too much and don't put enough weight on, you risk the chance of your baby having a low birth weight. Low birthweight babies have an elevated probability for serious health conditions as newborns, long lasting handicaps and in some cases death.
The ones that survive have a higher than normal tendency for mental retardation, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy as well as sight and loss of hearing.

On the other hand, if you're too overzealous with your pregnancy diet and put on too much weight you'll put your child at more risk of developing spina bifida, cardiovascular defects, a cleft palate as well as shorter limbs. It's best to play it safe and keep a pregnancy diet weight chart.

Pregnancy Diet Plan- Pregnancy Diet Checklist

On top of your pregnancy diet weight chart it's also important to keep a pregnancy diet checklist handy for the essential vitamins and minerals to make sure your baby develops in the best possible environment.
Three of the main ones to keep on top of are folate, calcium and iron.

Folate, or folic acid, is important for your baby's growth and development and it's actually recommended that you take it while you're trying to get pregnant and also during the first trimester.
Things to keep on your pregnancy diet checklist include chickpeas, kidney beans and yeast extract spreads such as marmite and vegemite for folate.

Spinach is a pregnancy diet superfood packed with calcium, folic acid and iron, whilst lean red meat is the still your best source of natural iron because it's in the exact correct proportions. If you really can't take red meat try to find a high quality supplement for iron.

Dairy products are your best choice for calcium, but alternatives are nuts and seeds such as brazil nuts and almonds can also be good in the list of Pregnancy Diet Plan.

However, if you're a vegan be aware that nuts and seeds will not provide you with a sufficient amount of calcium for your baby's growth, no matter how much you consume.

Tips for getting pregnant faster - 20 Tips to Get Pregnant fast

20 Tips for getting pregnant faster get to know the cycle when you are first trimester? don;t worry about the best positions for getting pregnant.

Tips for getting pregnant faster

Tips for getting pregnant faster

This article includes a short quick-fire list of eight of the best tips for getting pregnant based on the most popular concerns searched out on the internet. Some of them may apply to you, while others won't. However, one thing is for certain, if you're looking for tips for getting pregnant you're definitely in the right place!

#1. Tips For Getting Pregnant Fast

Buy a proper guide or use an approved program. Of all the tips for getting pregnant fast, this is by far the easiest and most certain way of getting pregnant. The top guides offer success rates higher than 90% (see out Top 5 list, right). Traditional
infertility treatments such as IVF are pretty much becoming redundant. However, there is stiff opposition coming from the big drug companies.

#2. Tips For Getting Pregnant Fast -Tips For Men

Get a sperm sample tested. It costs less than you think, often under a few hundred bucks. Most couples
trying to get pregnant automatically think that it's a problem with the woman, however, it takes two to tango and sluggish sperm is just as serious an issue. Go to your local fertility clinic, or see your local doctor.

#3. Tips for Getting Pregnant faster After 35

The best tip for getting pregnant after 35 is to NOT do IVF! Seriously,
IVF success rates are absolutely abysmal once you get over 35. Your best-case scenario is a one in ten chance. Considering the ludicrously high IVF cost these days it's the worst thing you could do. Continued below....

#4. Tips For Getting pregnant faster for A Girl

The best tip for getting pregnant with a girl is to adjust your Pregnancy diet Plan to incorporate acidic foods. Boy sperm don't like an acidic environment and won't function as well, so the girl sperm will have a better chance of getting to the egg first.

#5. Tips For Getting A Boy

Boy sperm are not as mobile as girl sperm so to maximize your chances of getting a boy be sure to go for deep penetration when you have sex. This will deliver the payload closer to the destination and give the boys a better chance. Additionally, following on from tip #4, just do the opposite and keep a mostly alkaline diet, its been proven to the answer on
how to get pregnant with a boy.

#6. Tips For Getting Pregnant With PCOS

If you have been diagnosed, or have previously suffered from polycystic ovary syndrome the absolute best thing you can do is follow the
Pregnancy Miracle program. Currently, the most successful pregnancy system in the World, Pregnancy Miracle has a 100% success rate, including lots of women who suffer from PCOS.

#7. Tips For Getting Pregnant While Breastfeeding

There aren't any tips for getting pregnant while breastfeeding. To put it simply, it's highly unlikely that this will happen because your body produces hormones which actually suppress your reproductive system from fully functioning. Your body does this to ensure that all of your energy is put into producing healthy and nourishing breast milk for your newborn baby. It can happen if you are extremely fertile, however your best bet if you want to get pregnant is to stop the breastfeeding.

#8. Tips For Getting Pregnant After Miscarriage

Firstly, try not to blame yourself. I know this might seem difficult and will be impossible for most of you, but there's nothing you can do now to change it. The good news is that usually there's no physical barriers to stop you getting pregnant again quickly. Just take the time you need to get your head right and when the time feels right, you can try again and see what happens.

#9 Tips For Getting Pregnant  Eat More Fiber

Fiber helps your body get rid of excess hormones and keeps blood sugar balanced.

Some examples of high-fiber foods are whole grains, fruits, vegetables and beans.

Certain types of fiber can help remove excess estrogen by binding to it in the intestines.

The excess estrogen is then removed from the body as a waste product.

One study found that eating 10 grams (check what to eat when Pregnant) more cereal fiber per day was associated with a 44% lower risk of ovulatory infertility among women older than 32 years.

However, the evidence on fiber is mixed. In another study of 250 women aged 18 to 44, eating the recommended 20-35 grams of fiber per day was associated with a nearly 10 times higher risk of abnormal ovulation cycles.

#10 Choose High-Fat Diary

High intakes of low-fat dairy foods may increase the risk of infertility, whereas high-fat dairy foods may decrease it.

One large study looked at the effects of eating high-fat dairy more than once a day or less than once a week.

It found that women who consumed one or more servings of high-fat dairy per day were 27% less likely to be infertile.

You can try replacing one low-fat dairy serving per day with one high-fat dairy serving, such as a glass of whole milk.

#11 Cut the Caffeine

Caffeine can negatively affect female fertility.

One study suggests that women who consume over 500 mg of caffeine daily take up to 9.5 months longer to get pregnant

A high caffeine intake before pregnancy is also linked to an increased risk of miscarriage

However, other studies did not find a strong link between caffeine intake and an increased risk of infertility

#12 Quit Stressing. Stress happens. ...

#13 Eat a Balanced Diet.

#14 Get Plenty of Sleep.

#15 Limit Your Alcohol Intake.

#16 Have Sex — But Not Every Day.

#17 Have Sex Right Before Ovulation

#18 Stop Any Bad Habits.

#19 Read good Books

#20 Anything Else?

Good nutrition is vital for a healthy body and reproductive system.

In fact, studies have shown that eating a nutritious Pregnancy diet Plan and making positive lifestyle changes can help boost fertility and prepare your body for pregnancy.

What’s more, how you choose to live and eat today will influence sperm and egg quality 90 days from now.

If you’re trying to get pregnant, it’s important that you begin making healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices today.
